  • Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy (HICAT) is a mental health practice that uses the creative processes of art-making to improve and enhance individuals’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being for all ages.  

     HICAT sessions embody the connects of many ancient traditional wisdoms, developing new ways to release a busy mind, expanding creativity through varied art methods, building confidence and self-awareness, realigning the body’s cells, reconnecting with the essence of joy, and awakening the spirit.

    “A common misconception is that art therapy is [only] for ‘creatives’ or children. That could not be farther from the truth. It is for all, regardless of age, ability or demographic.

    Art therapy has been shown to be effective for people experiencing depression or anxiety. According to researchers, the process of creating art helps with emotion regulation, which in turn can help lower anxiety.

  • I use a variety of approaches similar to Hollistic application of life coaching, or holistic counseling counselling methods.

    There are many techniques we use, writing, reflective journaling, poetry, Drawing, sand play, sound and movement session. We also use a variety of materials. sculpture work, painting, modeling clay, voice work, role play and many different supplies.

    Applied through relatable tasks creative applications for reflective objective overview so one can find solutions to your issues.

    In General Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy uses many varied styles of art mediums, music, drama, dance/movement, poetry/creative writing, play, storytelling, and sand play within therapy, counselling, rehabilitation, and I incorporate holistic healing as well in my session.
